Tasha Marsaglia | Executive Director
Tasha Marsaglia has lived in the Plainfield area for just over 6 years. Tasha is originally from Washington State where she and her family lived until she was in the sixth grade. Afterwards she and her family moved to Florida where she graduated high school and attended a small University in North Carolina where she received her degree in liberal studies. Shortly after she began working in Admissions for her alma mater, then began to explore a career in community relations once arriving in Illinois.
Tasha had a chance to be a member of the PACC while working at Rasmussen College where she sat on the 5k committee, the Ambassador Committee, and attended many of the chamber events. It was then where she began to know the business community and when the opportunity to become part of the PACC staff presented itself, which was an opportunity she welcome wholeheartedly.
To quote Tasha, “Becoming a part of the Plainfield Area Chamber has been a very rewarding experience for me. I have always enjoyed getting to know the community I live in and work in. Since being at the Chamber we have had opportunities to grow and extend more into our community. We have an awesome team here in our chamber office and we have seen tremendous growth over the past few years, I thank our members and Board of directors for all your support so far.”
Tasha and her family currently reside in Plainfield.
Vitella Barnes | Executive Assistant
Vitella has been with the PSACC for 7 years now in the role of Executive Assistant. Throughout her time at the chamber, she has taken on added responsibilities of marketing, planning special events, and the chamber’s website content. With the merger of the Shorewood Area Chamber and Plainfield Area Chamber recently, Vitella will now be working extensively with the only 2 communities in which she has resided in for the past 20 years since moving from Chicago. She spent 15 years in Shorewood and the last 6 in Plainfield. Her familiarity with the people and businesses of these 2 villages will provide the combined chambers with invaluable insight to make this merger an even greater success. She is also a member of Kiwanis Club, serving on its board, and holds a BA in business management. Vitella and her husband live in Plainfield and have 3 children and their little dog, Bella.
