I am the Head of Community Engagement and Marketing at the Plainfield Public Library. I have held this position since 2018 and have been with the Library since 2014, previously holding the role of Community Engagement Liaison. My roles at the Library have allowed me to get to know many people in the Plainfield community and make valuable personal and professionals connections.
I've served on the Harvest 5K and Special Events Committee at the Chamber assisting in planning Spooktacular and The Heart of Christmas for the past 4 years.
Working for the Plainfield Library is truly rewarding and gives me the opportunity to connect with the community. The Library is a wonderful resource offering programming, information and resources for lifelong learning.
Mr. Sloan has spent the past 12 years in the Construction Industry. In 2008, he started by sweeping floors at TR Miller and has worked just about every position. Mr. Sloan is currently President of TR Miller Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing. In 2016 he was promoted to General Manager to oversee operations, marketing, and finance. In 2018 he was then promoted to President. Under his teams management TR Miller has been recognized as an Inc. 5000 company and other industry awards.
My wife, Tristin, and I have three children: twin girls, Rachel and Ashley, and Logan. I am an active member of the community, serving as Joliet Catholic Academy Alumni Board Vice President. Originally from Joliet, I attended Cathedral of St. Raymond's, Joliet Catholic Academy, and Cumberland University before moving to Plainfield in 2007. I began my financial services career in 2006 as a financial services representative with MetLife. I Joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor in 2012, and in June of 2014 opened the firm's fourth branch office in Plainfield.
I have been a part of the banking industry since 2000 and started managing the Shorewood Branch of BMO Harris Bank in September 2018. BMO Harris is a big bank with community bank values that allows me to really be a part of the community I serve. My husband Erik and I moved to Plainfield in 2012 and had our first son Jaxson that same year. In 2015 we had Ashton. Erik’s parents live in Shorewood and the six of us love spending time at the parks and restaurants in both Shorewood and Plainfield. Our children especially love the many ice cream shops to choose from! I am excited for the SACC and PACC merger and the opportunity to enhance the value and exposure of our small businesses.
I am proud to call Plainfield my home away from home for the last 13 years. I have traveled and lived all over the world, so I am not only excited but grateful to call Plainfield MY HOME! Being in Plainfield, Illinois has given me many opportunities not only to grow my business but to help other entrepreneurs and business owners who share the same passion of running our own business. I have made connections in the community by volunteering with Plainfield’s Hometown Irish Parade, helping the Village of Plainfield Police Dept. raise money for the Plainfield Explorers and donating the food to the COPS organization who assist and cycle across the state of Illinois to help raise money for the officers killed in the line of duty. I also assist the Village of Plainfield with BASSET training, alcohol awareness and health department duties as new restaurants come to town. I have been a member of the PSACC for the last 4 years and I am a part of the Ambassador and Education Committees. I enjoy meeting new people and of course handcrafting cocktails and adding my personal touch to Mexican Cuisine!
If I am not working, you will find me reading, working out, or just hanging out at a Cubs game.
Mr. Minnis has spent the past 13 years in the banking industry assisting a wide variety of clients throughout the Chicagoland area. His banking background includes working capital and equipment financing, letters of credit, commercial real estate and construction financing, as well as loan remediation and portfolio risk mitigation.
Mr. Minnis received his bachelor’s degree from DePaul University and his M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University. He is involved with a variety of professional organizations, including the Plainfield Lions Club, the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Young Professionals of Naperville.
I have been a member of the Plainfield Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce for the past 11` years and have been a member of the Board of Directors for the past 8 years.

Grew up in a Family Business Atmosphere involving commercial & industrial rental properties and retail businesses. This included a Laundromat and Dry Cleaners, Gas Station, Security Company, Low Voltage Audio Business and Rental Properties consisting of Purchasing, Leasing and Management. Over the Years TJ and his wife have purchased, managed and sold many companies. In 1992, using the education learnings while working in a Laundromat, TJ and his wife bought their 1st current Laundromat location. Since that time, they have Bought-Remodeled-Operated and Sold, 9 Laundromats in the South and Western Suburbs. At present, they are involved with five successful Laundromat Locations.
TJ has been a member of the PSACC since 2009 and has had an active role on the board of directors for the past four years.
During the free time that is available, golfing is enjoyed, along with weekend family activities of water skiing and jet boating.

Eric is an owner of National SoftWash, Inc. and a Producer at Northern Insurance Group. After receiving two Bachelor's of Science in Finance and Insurance at Illinois State University, Eric joined the National Catastrophe Team at Allstate Insurance. While traveling 300 days per year, Eric served in a multitude of property claims positions and worked at a variety of catastrophic sites including the World Trade Center and Hurricane Dennis, Irene, Floyd and Katrina. After leaving the extensive travel of the Catastrophe Team at Allstate, he joined the local claims department at Nationwide Insurance. He was recruited to become an agency owner within a year of joining Nationwide. He opened the doors to the Marsaglia Agency in Downtown Plainfield in 2004. He merged his agency with Northern Insurance Service in 2008 and has maintained a downtown Plainfield presence since. In 2017, he formed National SoftWash, Inc with his two college friends and have seen explosive growth. National SoftWash, Inc is also operated in Plainfield and is rapidly growing into the largest softwash companies in the State of Illinois. Eric is a long time real estate investor by owning a multitude of single family homes, condominiums and multi unit properties. He has also served as a licensed Real Estate Broker with Chase Real Estate. He has flipped over 50 properties and helped his clients flip dozens more in the last 10 years.
Eric has been an active participant in several local organizations. He has served as the President of the Plainfield Lions Club and is the current President of the Plainfield Riverfront Foundation. He has also served on the Plainfield Emergency management Association and the Plainfield Exchange Club. One of his first endeavors as a business owner in 2004 was to join the Plainfield Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce. Since joining the PSACC, he has served as on the Executive Board for 4 years as the Secretary, Vice President and President and a Board of Directors member for 10+ years. During his tenure with the PSACC, he has been the chairperson of the Golf Outing and Cruise Nights.
Eric resides in Plainfield with his wife, Tasha Marsaglia, their four children, & fur baby Bimba. He loves coaching his children at their various sports affiliated with the C.W. Avery YMCA and other local youth programs.
Chad R. Holstead is the founder of Business Knowledge Systems and is a wealth of vast and diversified experience in the information technology field. Mr. Holstead founded Business Knowledge Systems and focused on providing high end IT consulting services to meet the specific needs and budgets of small and mid-sized businesses. Throughout his tenure with BKS Systems, Chad has personally overseen the planning and implementing of a new network infrastructure for the opening of a new bank and launched a technology support program for community banks. He has also organized the network infrastructure, and provided technology and network consulting services to numerous clients in a variety of industries including professional service firms, manufacturing, distribution, and transportation industries.
Along with running a local business in Plainfield, Chad is very involved in local community service. He is the past president of the Plainfield Kiwanis Club, and still sits on the board. He is actively involved as an advisor for the Plainfield Aktion Club, a community service club for adults with special needs. He also sits on the admin council and finance chairperson for Plainfield United Methodist Church.
Chad lives in Plainfield with his wife Karyn and two daughters, on weekends he can be found watching his daughters in their respective sports, equestrian riding and competitive cheer.

My spouse, Terri, and I have four children and have lived in Minooka since 2005. Active in the community, I am on the Greater Joliet YMCA Metropolitan Board of Directors, the Advisory Board of the Gallowich YMCA and also serve on the finance and audit committee of the Greater Joliet YMCA. Additionally, I'm a current board member of the Minooka Baseball & Softball Association.

Mr. Jim Serr is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Joliet Junior College where he also sits on the President's Cabinet as part of the college's leadership team. Mr. Serr holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management and Information Systems (OMIS) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Northern Illinois University (NIU). Mr. Serr boasts a 20-plus year career in Information Technology (IT) and leadership that spans multiple industries. Mr. Serr launched Clarity, an IT professional services firm, in 2001 that targeted mid-market companies with $100M - $250M revenues and exited the business in 2012 to pursue further development of his leadership and strategy capabilities. Mr. Serr has served a variety of community service organizations in a board capacity including Will County Big Brothers Big Sisters agency, Joliet Junior College Foundation, and Guardian Angel Community Services.
My husband Ryan and I have two daughters, Allison and Holly. I am an active member of the community and serve as the Executive Director of the C.W. Avery Family YMCA in addition to being an active member of the Will County MAPP Collaborative and the Plainfield Lions Club. Originally from Homer Glen, I am a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and have been a resident of the Plainfield area since 2006. I began my YMCA career in 2001 as the Health Enhancement Director of the Elmhurst YMCA. I was a part of the team who opened the C.W. Avery Family YMCA in 2006 and have been employed by the Greater Joliet Area YMCA ever since.
